
Working on some functional art ideas. I enjoy the design process....the mental exercise.
Much of what is shown here are pieces built from 200 year old Heart Pine reclaimed during floor repairs to the East side of the CoRK art studio building in Jacksonville FL. The floors are Tongue and Groove, over 3" think and were laid in 1926. Aging the wood shows the trees were well over 100 years old when harvested.
